What a year costs
Pro billed yearly is $144 a year ($12 a month). Paid month to month, it's $180 over a year ($15 a month). With the 50% student and educator discount, Pro costs half. The free plan stays free, with its weekly word limit.
Where your words go
Wispr Flow's privacy page says transcription always happens in the cloud, for speed and accuracy. Its data controls let you choose whether it stores your audio and transcripts, and you can opt out of model training at any time.
If you only type on a Mac
Inkbie is voice typing for Mac that's free for good, with no word limit: hold fn, talk as long as you like, let go and it's typed. Your voice becomes text on your Mac, offline after one download. It lives in the corner of your screen as a little ink drop, and you can drop a friend a line by saying their name. It does 25 European languages and runs on Mac only.
When Pro is worth it
You dictate more than 2,000 words a week, on your phone and Windows as well as your Mac, in more than 25 languages, and you want meeting notes and a team workspace in the same app. That's what Wispr Flow is built for, and Pro removes the limits.
